The Kid | Charlie Chaplin | Silent Move

After their successful film concerts dedicated to works by Hitchcock, Eisenstein or Dreyer, the duet of Silent Move will perform live over the classic Chaplin Film “The Kid”.

“The Kid” is a 1921 film and it has earned a special place in the director’s filmography. It is a typical film of Charles Chaplin since it combines in a refined way emotion and humor. The film begins with the phrase: “A picture with a smile — and perhaps, a tear.” The duet of Silent Move will present their own version of the film by using both acoustic and electronic sound.
