Yako Trio – “Woven”
Contemporary jazz with strong rhythmic structures and an inner intensity: the Yako Trio moves between elements of Greek folk music, African rhythms, cool bop, and polyrhythms, creating a distinctive and dynamic soundscape.
The setlist is based on the album “Woven” (Fair Weather Friends Records, December) and includes selections from their discography as well as new, unreleased material.

🔷 The Yako Trio was formed in Thessaloniki in 2016 and is active on the contemporary Greek jazz scene. They have performed at festivals and venues such as the Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, and the Dimitria Festival, as well as abroad (Bulgaria, Serbia).
