Submersion Festival 2026
Submersion Records was founded in Thessaloniki in October 2020 and has released 29 albums to date, featuring artists such as Giannis Arapis, Saber Rider, Giorgos Katsanos, Chrysa Tsaltampasi, Giorgos Karras, Kalliopi Mitropoulou…
In 2025, the label organized the first festival dedicated its work in Athens, which was very well received.
It returns to KET this year with the second Submersion Festival—a label showcase that highlights the breadth of its releases from 2020 to the present.
Polyphony remains at the center. From Emi Path’s experimental songs, based on vocals and synthesizers, to Demi Spriggs’s acoustic English-language folk and Myrsini Kalle’s atmospheric ambient music, the first day features recent releases as well as new material.
This Darkness of Mine, with a new release, presents an ambient neoclassical ensemble on the second day, accompanied by visuals designed specifically for the festival. CALLIOPE, featuring vocals, euphonium, and synthesizers, moves between Greek folk music and electronic ambient. Rounding out the lineup is As Never Before, with a new album that combines electronic elements with acoustic guitar and songwriting.
A pop-up shop featuring the label’s new releases will be open at KET.
