Alondra Máynez & Concepción Huerta / Jay Glass Dubs
Two sets, two ways for electronic music to engage with what came before. On the one hand, the harp—one of the oldest instruments—meets magnetic tape and analog circuits. On the other, a practice that borrows, deconstructs, and reconstructs sounds and methods. From Mexico City to Athens, the evening brings together two projects in transition, just ahead of new albums expected in 2027.
Alondra Máynez & Concepción Huerta (Mexico)
◍ Η Alondra Máynez και η Concepción Huerta develop a collaborative project exploring the encounter between harp, electronics, and magnetic tape. Their compositions emerge from electronic structures created by Huerta, where synthesis, analog processing, and tape manipulation build sonic territories through which Máynez’s harp unfolds melodic lines, resonances, and extended techniques.
The duo investigates the timbral possibilities that arise from the dialogue between an acoustic instrument with a long musical tradition and contemporary electronic processes, moving across electroacoustic composition, ambient music, and experimental sound. The harp shifts between melody, texture, and resonance, while the electronics transform and expand its presence within the sonic space. Maynez and Huerta recently opened for Lucrecia Dalt at MUTEK Mexico, marking an important moment in their ongoing collaboration. Their work will continue through the recording and release of their first collaborative album, scheduled for 2027.

Jay Glass Dubs (Greece)
◍ Dimitris Papadatos, also known as Jay Glass Dubs, is an electronic music composer and sound artist. He has been active on the international scene for over ten years, from Berlin Atonal, documenta 14, and Terraforma to London’s Cafe OTO, with releases on Bokeh Versions, DFA, and Ecstatic.
His starting point is dub music, which he strips down to its basic components (drums, bass, vocals, effects) and reconstructs on his own terms. His work juxtaposes disparate elements, reexamining methods with a long historical tradition and challenging the mechanisms that legitimize them. Most of his work addresses issues such as copyright, authorship, and originality through an ongoing process of transformation.
At KET, he is performing material from a new album set to be released in 2027.
