We will discuss the issue of AirBnB in Athens. We are seeing our neighborhoods becomimg too expensive and we are worried. We are witnessing apartment evictions because the owners want to use them for AirBnB. What can we do about this?
The discussion will be opened by researcher Dimitris Pettas. He will present a study he made on AirBnB in Athens and its implications.
Mirmigki (a solidarity organization in Kypseli), seeing that Kypseli is also affected by all this, has begun to deal with the issue.
