About
Three musicians from three different countries, born in three different decades, and each with a different artistic path, are collaborating for the first time on the stage of KET, on Friday, October 14.
Babak Ahteshamipour (electronics), Iakovos Pavlopoulos (drums) and Kiriakos Spirou (piano) present two musical projects, full of contrasts in terms of style and intensity, which nevertheless have improvisation as their common basic element.
The first is a very intense and dwelling improvisational duet with Babak Ahteshamipour on electronics and Iakovos Pavlopoulos on drums, while the second is a minimalist structured improvisation for piano by Kiriakos Spirou, presented for the first time with live electronics by Babak Ahteshamipour.
