Bethnal Greener / Sofia Zafeiriou / Taylor Savage
🔷 Bethnal Greener is the alias of sound artist, producer and translator, Kostis Kilymis. In his music, he creates musical narratives between electronics, field recordings and unsteady rhythms. Following his recent album, “Πεδίο”, on Same Difference Music and the “Every border implies a violence” EP, for his performance at KET he is going to present a new set for electronics and tape.
🔷 Sofia Zafeiriou is a sound artist and composer based in Athens. Her practice approaches listening as a relational and political method, working across sound, technology and social processes. She will perform a live electronic set, combining her computational sound practice with recordings from gorges, streams and dried wells, coils from the trash and subterranean vibrations.
🔷 Taylor Savage was born and raised in Athens, carving out his sound as a DJ in the city’s bars and late-night parties. In his live sets, he tears through scratched, skipping CDs, twisting them with effects and no-input techniques into a raw collage of cut-up noise. In this latest iteration of his live performance a guitar is added further expanding his sonic explorations.
