Chepkalo Projects

Chepkalo Projects presents in its own way traditional songs mainly from the area of ​​western Macedonia and the surrounding areas, inside and outside the borders. Famous rhythms that are usually heard by brass band only with their music, are presented differently: with their lyrics. At KET, there will also be a parallel projection with photos from the natural scenery of the area, attempting to unite people, voices and music with the diversity of nature elements.

Chepkalo Projects is the first music band in Athens to sing in a language banned in the past and considered non-existent. The band began its live performances in April 2019 at various venues in Athens and festivals. They have also performed live in the radio show “Afylachti Diavasi” of the First Program of the Hellenic Radio.
