City Lights | Charlie Chaplin | Silent Move

After the screenings of “Modern Times” and “The Kid”, Silent Move return at KET with another Charlie Chaplin film. This time they will perform live over the classic film “City Lights” (1931). Although in 1931 talking films exist, Chaplin insisted to make this one a silent film with the subtitle “a romantic pantomime”.  “City Lights” has a special place in the history of cinema, it is considered as one of the best films of all times. The duet of Silent Move will present their own version of the film by using both acoustic and electronic sound as well as improvisation.
