Stamou, Chytiris, Ziarkas ft. Savina Yiannatou

The improvising trio of Tasos Stamou, Stephanos Chytiris and Thodoris Ziarkas returns at KET for a concert along with Savina Yiannatou.

The group will improvise on the edge of noise and melody. They will use traditional jazz instruments (contrabass, drums) but in a very minimalistic way, and also electronic instruments. They will explore the nature and the possibilities of their instruments to produce strange, familiar but also unexpected sounds.

Ethereal and undefined sounds alternate with melodies inspired by folk, free jazz and electronic music.
