\n\nFor the fifth consecutive year, once a month, Jannis Anastasakis invites at KET various musicians and visual artists to improvise and create an in situ audiovisual project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the February session he invites Guido De Flaviis (saxophone), Fausto Sierakowski (saxophone), Dimitris Klonis (drums) and Kostis Emmanouilidis (live visuals).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guido De Flaviis
Guido De Flaviis took the saxophone diploma in Milan with a first-class honors degree in 2004 and in 2007 he took with honors, the Master Degree at the Dutch national academy of music in Amsterdam. His concert activity with different chamber music groups made him perform at music festivals and concerts in the most famous Italian and European Theaters He has played with a lot of different orchestras like the \u201cScaligeri\u201d of \u201cLa Scala\u201d, the S.Cecilia of Rome, Verdi of Milan; Camerata, Hromaton and ERT of Athens; Kratiki\u2019 of Thessaloniki. As a soloist with orchestras Guido has already more than fifty concerts to his credit.

Fausto Sierakowski
He was born in 1988 in Paris and grew up in Rome. In 2009 he received a Diploma in Classical Saxophone from the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia under the direction of Alfredo Santoloci and in 2012 he obtained a Masters Degree in Modern Improvisation from the New England Conservatory under the guidance of Anthony Coleman, Hankus Netsky and Frank Carlberg. During his stay in America and until his return to Europe in 2014, he participated in concerts and recordings with musicians such as Matt Moran, Anthony Coleman, Joe Morris, Matt Darriau, Satoshi Takeshi, Hayden Chisholm and Axel D\u00f6rner. In 2016 he moves to Greece to study Classical Ottoman Music and ud with Eugene Voulgaris. Since then he has been involved in the musical ensembles of Eugene Voulgaris, Thymios Adzakas and James Wylie, as well as in several bands, such as: People of the wind (with Alexander Rizopoulos) and Rodakina (with Avgerini Gatsi, Maria Ploumi and Evi Canellou).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dimitris Klonis
Dimitris Klonis was born in 1984 in Athens. At the age of 14, he begins his studies on drums near Petros Dachtilidis and later on with John Floros, where he is taught the famous \u2018drumming\u2019 technique initiated by the great Alan Dawson. In 2010 and after graduating from the National Technical University of Athens (School of Electrical and Computer Engineering), he simultaneously entered two music schools in the Netherlands: Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Rotterdam Jazz Academy (Codarts). He studies for a very short time in the first one, where he attends classes with Lucas Van Merwijk, Maurcel Serierse and Victor Oskam. He has attended a harmony jazz course with Professor Gregory Batsis as well as seminars and private lessons with Kendrick Scott, Adam Nussbaum, Jojo Mayer and Akira Jimbo. He holds a degree in Harmony (2009) and a Degree in Counterpoint (2012) with Professor Orestis Chatzinakis. He has collaborated with major names in the local and foreign jazz scene such as: Takis Paterelis, Giorgos Contrafouris, Yiotis Samaras, Dimitris Tsakas, Pantelis Benetatos, Dimitris Kalantzis, Kostas Konstantinou, Konstantinou Toumis, Femi Temowo (Roots, Amy Winehouse), Michael Weisberger (Milo Z), Yoel Soto, Enrique Pascual, Adedeji Adetayo, Aline de Lima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kostis Emmanouilidis
Kostis Emmanouilidis has studied Mechanical Engineering at NTUA. But his special relationship with photography first and then with video art \/ animation and architectural projection mapping were the reasons that led him to move to the visual arts field, which is now his main occupation. He has participated in various festivals such as: Photometria Festival, Vovousa Festival, Saristra Festival, Biennale of Western Balkans, Soundtrope Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jannis Anastasakis
Jannis Anastasakis is considered to be in a league of his own as a guitar player, improvisor and soundscape artist in Greece. His unique, in-depth approach of the guitar as an ambient sound generator, and the extended use of effects (he is also the builder and designer of the JAM pedals) and analog synths, results in a very personal sound and delivery, that sets him apart from all other players in his country. He is coming up with unique and fresh sounds that take the music from ambient to psychedelic and off limits to new territory. He has collaborated with great artists such as: Arve Henriksen, Eivind Aarset, Christian Fennesz, Gilad Atzmon, Thodoris Rellos, Savina Yannatou, Floros Floridis, Michalis Siganidis, Lena Platonos, Harris Lambrakis, Haig Yazdjian, Dionysis Savopoulos to name a few.
