{"id":4627,"date":"2026-02-05T08:08:32","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T08:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polychorosket.gr\/?post_type=events&#038;p=4627"},"modified":"2026-02-05T08:08:34","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T08:08:34","slug":"three-times-three-526-en","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/polychorosket.gr\/en\/events\/three-times-three-526-en\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Times Three #5"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The monthly event \u201c<strong>Three Times Three<\/strong>\u201d brings together artists from the fields of\u00a0<strong>contemporary dance<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>experimental music<\/strong>, with the aim of creating a common code of communication that remains in effect for the duration of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three musicians meet three dancers each time. At the beginning of the evening, three random pairs are formed by drawing lots, and they improvise for 15 minutes. The evening closes with a 30-minute collective improvisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThree Times Three\u201d&nbsp;is curated by composer<strong>&nbsp;Spyros Polychronopoulos&nbsp;<\/strong>(Spyweirdos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fifth event of the season features <strong>Maria Kasidokosta<\/strong> (dance), <strong>Dorothea Polychronopoulou<\/strong> (dance), <strong>Anastasia Valsamaki<\/strong> (dance), <strong>Giannis Notaras<\/strong> (drums), <strong>Dimitris Pantelias<\/strong> (saxophone), and <strong>Anastasia Kotsali<\/strong> (vocals).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd37 Dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher <strong>Maria Kasidokosta<\/strong> is a graduate of the NSCD and FPSE at the NKUA. She has collaborated on contemporary dance and theater performances. She is active in teaching and choreographic research with an emphasis on physical contact and the lively connection of bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd37 Dancer and dance teacher <strong>Dorothea Polychronopoulou<\/strong> is a graduate of the Kontaksaki vocational school. For the past nine years, she has been working as an architect in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd37 Dancer and choreographer <strong>Anastasia Valsamaki<\/strong> is a graduate of the NSCD and the SEAD ICE postgraduate choreography program. Her works, SYNC, Body Monologue, DisJoint, W REST L ING, and THE VERSO, have been presented at international and Greek festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd37 Drummer <strong>Giannis Notaras <\/strong>studied classical percussion and jazz in Greece, Belgium, and Great Britain. His artistic career, both in recording and concert performance, focuses on jazz and free improvisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd37 Saxophonist and composer <strong>Dimitris Pantelias<\/strong> has collaborated with numerous Greek and foreign musicians, performed at music venues and festivals, and has an extensive discography. He works as a saxophone teacher at the Pallini Music School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd37 Opera singer<strong> Anastasia Kotsali <\/strong>collaborates as a soloist with the Greek National Opera, the Athens Festival, the Camerata-Friends of Music Orchestra, and others.
