Submersion Records<\/strong> was founded in Thessaloniki in October 2020 and has released 29 albums to date, featuring artists such as Giannis Arapis, Saber Rider, Giorgos Katsanos, Chrysa Tsaltampasi, Giorgos Karras, Kalliopi Mitropoulou\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, the label organized the first festival dedicated its work in Athens, which was very well received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It returns to KET this year with the second Submersion Festival\u2014a label showcase that highlights the breadth of its releases from 2020 to the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polyphony remains at the center. From Emi Path<\/strong>\u2019s experimental songs, based on vocals and synthesizers, to Demi Spriggs<\/strong>\u2019s acoustic English-language folk and Myrsini Kalle<\/strong>\u2019s atmospheric ambient music, the first day features recent releases as well as new material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Darkness of Mine<\/strong>, with a new release, presents an ambient neoclassical ensemble on the second day, accompanied by visuals designed specifically for the festival. CALLIOPE<\/strong>, featuring vocals, euphonium, and synthesizers, moves between Greek folk music and electronic ambient. Rounding out the lineup is As Never Before<\/strong>, with a new album that combines electronic elements with acoustic guitar and songwriting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pop-up shop featuring the label’s new releases will be open at KET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
