Have you ever spent two hours playing, dancing, singing in total darkness? French-Greek actress and director Clio Van de walle invites you on a sensory and emotional journey on the theme of Taboo.<\/p>\n

First of all, with your group, you will be invited to locate and observe the space in which you will move throughout the duration of the course. Once the space is “tamed”, we turn off the lights and we start gently with adapted exercises.<\/p>\n

– Localisation of the bodies and energies in the space
\n– Work on voice, sound, breath, singing
\n– Collective improvisations with music, uses of objects, musical instruments
\n– Work on smells, materials, tastes
\n– Sensory and emotional memories<\/p>\n

In a second step, you will play and work on a short “taboo” text that you will have learned by heart. It may be a press article, a poem, a song, a theatrical extract, a political speech. This new approach to the text will allow you to connect to the group instinctively and organically. Exploring your body, voice and imagination, you will rediscover yourself in a challenging and unexpected way.<\/p>\n

This event is open to all, from 16 years old. Greek, french and english speakers are welcome but you can choose to say your text in any langage.<\/p>\n

Each participant is asked to:
\n– bring a smell that corresponds to his or her text. (perfume, spices, food, alcohol, oil painting…)
\n– bring a sound that corresponds to his or her text. (musical instrument, crumpled paper, plastic bottle, metalic objects, whistle…)
\n– wear comfortable clothing and shoes<\/p>\n
