On stage, the three performers cross a space between the past and the present, meeting the ghosts and music of the Civil War era, songs from Epirus, rebetika, Russian melodies… while improvising, they always return to themselves, to the sounds and reality of the present.<\/p>\n
The video art of the presentation is based on visual material by Ilias Poulos and archival material from the \u03a0\u03cc\u03bb\u03b5\u03bc\u03bf\u03c2 \u03a4\u03bf\u03c0\u03af\u03c9\u03bd\/Guerre des Paysages performance.<\/p>\n
The cd-book of the performance will be available at the entrance of KET.<\/p>\n
\u03a0\u03cc\u03bb\u03b5\u03bc\u03bf\u03c2 \u03a4\u03bf\u03c0\u03af\u03c9\u03bd \/ Guerre des Paysages:
\nThe starting point is the book by Ilias Poulos “Tashkent \/ Memories in Exile” – based on interviews by soldiers of the Democratic Army who were transferred in October 1949, after the end of the greek civil war, to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The second starting point is the narrative \u201cGuerre des Paysages\u201d by Dimitris Alexakis. These two texts were presented on stage by the french director Ir\u00e8ne Bonnaud. Ir\u00e8ne Bonnaud created a musical\/theatrical performance that is close to poetry, to a concert or to documentary theater.<\/p>\n

The premiere of the performance \u201c\u03a0\u03cc\u03bb\u03b5\u03bc\u03bf\u03c2 \u03a4\u03bf\u03c0\u03af\u03c9\u03bd \/ Guerre des Paysages\u201d took place on the 6th of May 2017, as a co-production by \u039a\u03ad\u03bd\u03c4\u03c1\u03bf \u0395\u03bb\u03ad\u03b3\u03c7\u03bf\u03c5 \u03a4\u03b7\u03bb\u03b5\u03bf\u03c1\u03ac\u03c3\u03b5\u03c9\u03bd, La Com\u00e9die de Reims, La Commune CDN Aubervilliers and Cie 813, and with the support of the Institut Fran\u00e7ais de Gr\u00e8ce \/ French Institute of Greece.\u00a0After two cycles of successful performances in Athens, at \u039a\u03ad\u03bd\u03c4\u03c1\u03bf \u0395\u03bb\u03ad\u03b3\u03c7\u03bf\u03c5 \u03a4\u03b7\u03bb\u03b5\u03bf\u03c1\u03ac\u03c3\u03b5\u03c9\u03bd (2017-18), the performance was presented in France, in Reims Sc\u00e8nes d’Europe festival (La Com\u00e9die de Reims \/ February 2018) and in La Commune CDN Aubervilliers (Paris\/Aubervillires, 15 – 19 May 2019).<\/p>\n
